Check out the photos below for an overview of the Create & Cultivate Miami Vision Summit on December 8, 2018. I’ve kept them in order of how I walked through the event. All the brand activations + panels were amazing and provided so much inspiration. For more about the event, read my blog entry here .
Mantras were pasted everywhere at the event – gotta bring that hard work + hustle! Oui by Yoplait sponsored the breakfast bar and it was SO good. I found one of my new favorite snacks at this conference! Oui by Yoplait also had a DIY and photo op booth reminiscent of their french style. They had a faux window with a painting of the french countryside and bicycle set up for photos. They asked attendees to fill out a card with what they’re “saying Oui to in 2019.” Brooklinen had a bed dressed in Brooklinen sheets set up for a fun video photo opp. They were also educating attendees on how to “experience luxury bedding at an affordable price point.” Loved this element of their pop-up as well. See Jane Work, a stationary + office supply brand available at Office Depot, set up a desk with products for flat lay purposes. They also had a photo backdrop with a neon sign featuring their hashtag + photo props available for posing. I had to capture this super cute photo of their creative team! Chandon had a photo op station + served drinks throughout the day. They also sponsored an educational happy hour + champagne tasting! This Brooklyn-founded and based indie hair care brand brought New York to Miami with their subway car. The car served as a pop-up shop where attendees could sample and purchase their entire line of products. They also offered complimentary hairstyling and a braid bar within the event’s beauty lounge. I revisited this pop-up several times – it was so cool! NuSkin was offering trials of their newest under-eye attachment for the LumiSpa device. We all received one in our gift bags! IT Cosmetics matched each attendee to their perfect shade + formula of their CC cream. It has since become a staple in my makeup kit. Mary Kay offered makeup touch-ups and gave everyone a starter palette with shadows + a blush to try at home. The Glam App was doing hair and makeup as part of the beauty bar. Everyone wanted to take home one of these mirrors because they were awesome! Living Proof did hair styling and headshots for attendees. They also created this beautiful wall as part of their pop-up. Everyone received a free month of Unlimited from Rent the Runway in their gift bags. Their pop-up featured the latest looks + DIY travel bags. EleVen by Venus Williams held a pop-up shop to check out their athletic wear. Supergoop! let each attendee build their own “candy” bag of sunscreen samples. LaCroix had one of the coolest activations. They offered attendees the chance to enter this trendy, branded office space and take photos. Everyone received their images in a printed photostrip and as a GIF via email. LaCroix staff offered everyone a bubbly beverage while they waited in line. Once you took a photo, you could also choose from a variety of enamel pins, PopSockets, and keychains as a takeaway. Look how cute my .GIF turned out! SmartyPants Vitamins offered samples of their vitamins and personalized notebooks for each attendee. Weebly asked each attendee to send an inspirational post card to a fellow girl boss. A favorite of the Create & Cultivate team, At-A-Glance offered a pop up with a full notebook and planner bar. The brand gave away a monthly planner to each attendee. You could choose the cover design and get a personalized message draw by an on-site calligrapher. Thanks for my beautiful monthly planner, At-A-Glance! WeddingWire challenged attendees to wedding planning trivia and informed attendees of an incredible giveaway happening for newly engaged couples. Jaclyn signed copies of WorkParty for everyone! The Home Depot set up a relaxing, winter-ready lounge for photo ops. Attendees could also drop their business card for the chance to win gift cards ranging from $100-$500 or one of the products featured within the booth. BCBGeneration served cotton candy courtesy of Fluff+Fluff, at their onsite pop up shop. Attendees could shop their latest collection and enter a raffle for multiple fun prizes. The most magical cotton candy I’ve ever had! Aerie set up a booth to celebrate girl power and body positivity. Their space incorporated wall art and a cute lounge area. There was also a second interactive photo opp moment where attendees could write inspirational post-it note messages to spread positivity. Aerie is one of my clients with Youth Marketing, so I was very happy to see them there! I heart Aerie! Canon also offered a photobooth activation with this cute palm leaf photo wall. I could eat Oui by Yoplait all day! This amazing panel of bloggers was super inspiring! Jaclyn introducing the keynote, Venus Williams! Jaclyn + Venus chatting about her incredible career. Aerie’s panel was by far my favorite of the day. I may be a little biased, but their advice on how to channel your girl power and use your voice brought me to tears! Steph Campbell + Iskra Lawrence Jess Weiner, Monique Coleman, + Brenna Huckaby Look at this amazing group of women! [insert heart eyes emoji] So true! The closing keynote conversation was a big one: Jamie Kern Lima (CEO of IT Cosmetics), Wen Zhou (CEO of 3.1 Phillip Lim), Sheryl Adkins-Green (CMO of Mary Kay), Jamie Chung (Actress + Blogger), and Diane Guerrero (Actress + Activist). INCREDIBLE! Wish you were here!
