Friday Favorites: 10 Items on My Shopping List

Hello and happy Friday! Exciting news: My company announced we’d be doing Summer Fridays to keep up with our mental health and maintain a positive work/life balance. As a result, I get to log off at 1 PM every Friday from now until Labor Day – thank you YMC! Now, what to do with this extra weekend time…? Shop!

Just kidding, I actually really need to slow my roll on online shopping during self-isolation. BUT, to curb the addiction while still indulging in a little “window shopping,” I’ll be sharing some of my recent favorite finds with you all. This won’t be an every Friday thing, but I’ll hop on now and again to link a few items I’ve added to my cart. *Must. Resist. Checkout.*

Full disclosure: I have purchased some of these items because I truly can’t help myself, but I still want to share them with you! I’ll note in the description below if that’s the case. Others are just on my radar or are more frivolous desires. Without further ado, here are this week’s Friday favorites!

1) Create & Cultivate The Jaclyn Bag – Lavender (Pre-Ordered)

When Create & Cultivate announced they’d be adding a collection of work-ready accessories for the “woman who does it all,” I knew it was going to be good. The line includes a card case, laptop case, belt bag, wallet, and the item I’ve placed on my list: the convertible Jaclyn Bag. An all-in-one satchel, shoulder bag, and backpack, this gorgeous bag comes in 9 swoon-worthy colors. If you know me, you know I can’t resist a good purple, so this lavender bag is at the top of my list! Pre-order now, ships June 15th. P.S. More on why I love Create & Cultivate in this post!

As you can tell by the featured image on this post, the bag arrived and I love it! Had to update to show how beautiful it is in person!!

2) Blueland Hand Soap Refill Packs (Purchased)

I bought a Blueland Clean Essentials kit a while back as I became more dedicated to reducing my consumption of single-use plastics. Within the kit, you receive reusable bottles and tablets that mix with water to create cleaning solution or soap. From there, you just need to repurchase the tablets, no more throwing away the bottles! I’ve come to love the soap kit, especially during this pandemic when soap was hard to find during panic-buy mode early on. I simply hopped on Blueland’s website, purchased 9 soap tablets to hold me over (Perrine Lemon is my favorite), and they arrived in less than a week! I highly recommend looking into this company for cleaner cleaning products.

3) The Pioneer Woman Classic Belly 10 Piece Cookware Set (Wishlist)

My mom has this cookware set in mint and I love cooking with them when I’m over the house! The “classic belly” shape is both functional and visually appealing. I honestly like all the colors, but think red would be a nice pop of color in the kitchen. I have several red dish towels and a red hand mixer, so why not continue the trend? Holding out until I find these on sale, though the price is already so good!

4) Everyday White® by Fitz and Floyd® Coupe 8-Inch Pasta Bowl (Purchased)

Is it weird to be obsessed with a bowl? Since we’re cooking every meal at home now, my roommates and I were finding ourselves running the dishwasher all the time just to find a clean bowl. I figured it was time to purchase more and I found these at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for a great price! They are the perfect size and shape for pasta, salad, smoothie bowls, and so much more. I honestly find myself tempted to eat every meal out of these because they’re just that pretty!

5) Anchor Hocking Glass Canisters with Glass Lids (Wishlist)

If you’re starting to sense a kitchen theme here, you’re not alone… Again, with all this time spent at home, I’ve been organizing like crazy and identifying areas of the house that could use some extra love. Our pantry (an open wire rack in our kitchen) is one of those areas. After reading The Home Edit book and following them on Instagram, I’m now in love with these glass canisters. Just imagine all the baking ingredients I could store!!

6) (re)zip Lay Flat Leak Proof Reusable Lunch Bag (Wishlist)

Okay, last kitchen item. I’ve been using reusable bags for a while now (again, cutting down on single-use plastic), but only recently discovered how helpful they are for storing food in the fridge and freezer. They take up way less space than the original packaging for more fruits and veggies. I’ll probably invest in more soon because they’re just so useful!

7) ABH NORVINA® Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 4 (Wishlist)

I saw Anastasia Beverly Hills release this palette on their Instagram and was instantly mesmerized. All of the gorgeous purple and pink-tone shades! *heart eyes* At $60, this palette would definitely be a splurge, so I’ll be waiting for a Sephora sale or special occasion to scoop this one up.

8) Women’s Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific Ambrosia Slide Sandal (Wishlist)

Blair Eadie does it again with another incredible Nordstrom collection! These shoes feel so now (okay, so not quarantine now, but trendy now). I love the rainbow straps and backless slide style. These would be so fun for a summer date night!

9) Aerie Jacquard Scoop One Piece Swimsuit (Wishlist)

Aerie swim is the BEST! This one piece is classic but with a few unique details. The “Monaco Blue” color is gorgeous and the textured jacquard fabric is an unexpected touch. The gold shine straps are sure to glisten as you’re soaking up the sun by the pool or on the beach. Just wait until my next AEO Connected reward comes in… This beauty is definitely joining my collection!

10) GLOW RECIPE My Watermelon Glow Vanity Set (Wishlist)

Glow Recipe is my go-to for refreshing, delicious-smelling skincare. I use the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask nightly and have been wanting to try more of their products. This vanity set offers the Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream and Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist along with the Sleeping Mask, all in one cute little package.

What’s been on your wishlist recently? Let me know in the comments or DM me on Instagram. I’d love to swap links!
