Primark On Tour: Fall Trend Report IRL {Plus the HC at Emmanuel Annual Fashion Show}
I’m constantly reading magazines and scrolling through Instagram to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in fashion. This month, Primark decided to take their fall trend report on tour and give shoppers the chance to find their favorite pieces IRL. I was so excited to stop by both the City Hall Plaza and Emmanuel College (my alma mater) locations on the tour to check out Primark’s mobile closet. While at Emmanuel, I also had the pleasure of attending the Her Campus Emmanuel Annual Body Positivity Fashion Show, an event I started in 2016 as founder of the organization. This year, Primark joined the show as a sponsor and dressed the beautiful models in the latest styles. Keep reading to see photos and a recap of both events!

Primark on Tour at City Hall Plaza
Despite some rainy weather, the Primark pop-up brought style to Boston’s City Hall Plaza on Tuesday, November 12th. With mannequins dressed in cozy plaid and racks of incredible picks for fall, this traveling closet had everything you need for the season. Some of my favorite items featured in the shop were Primark’s awesome selection of booties and the sherpa-lined jackets. I also love their amazing finds for the home. The photo op moment within the trailer showcased major hygge vibes with soft pillows, candles, and warm throw blankets.
It was also clear that red is THE color this year – a great choice to take you from crisp fall days into the holiday season. Black accessories were also heavily featured. From patent purses and leather jackets, to boots with buckle details and ribbed beanies, these items provide the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.
After checking out the tour, I was so excited to head to Primark’s Boston flagship in Downtown Crossing – especially with my gift card in hand from the event. Thanks Primark!
Her Campus Emmanuel Body Positivity Fashion Show
On Thursday, November 14th, I headed back to my old stomping grounds to catch Primark on tour at Emmanuel College in Fenway. This stop of the tour was particularly exciting because Primark was also one of the clothing providers for Her Campus at Emmanuel’s Annual Body Positivity Fashion Show. When I founded EC’s Her Campus chapter back in 2015 (my sophomore year), one of the group’s first event ideas was a fashion show. We worked hard to make it happen and give it meaning, so we centered the show around national eating disorders awareness week. We wanted students on campus of all shapes and sizes to have the chance to strut their stuff and wear clothes that made them feel beautiful inside + out. The tradition has continued ever since and holds a special place in my heart.
Now, let’s check out the trends that appeared on the runway this year, courtesy of Primark!
Accessories That Wow
One trend that immediately jumped out at me was Primark’s gorgeous accessories. The unique combat boots, bright red bag, green tights, fuzzy bucket hat, and sling-back pumps seen below really pulled together each outfit. Finding the perfect compliment to your well coordinated outfit is essential, and Primark has so many of those statement-making pieces.
Cozy Yet Stylish Jackets
Living in New England where tempatures drop without warning, it’s important to have a good coat to carry you through the season. Primark offers jackets that keep you warm without comprising on style. From quilted to furry to fuzzy, the options seen below are just a select few of the incredible styles you’ll find in store.
Streetwear FTW
An ever-growing trend, streetwear styles are big at Primark. Denim skirts, biker shorts, fanny packs, combat boots, jumpsuits… You name it, Primark’s got it. I loved the looks below from the show and you could tell the girls were FEELING themselves!
Dress to The Occasion
Primark isn’t just for everyday clothes; they also have unique pieces that work for your more dressy occasions. Pictured below: A tulle skirt perfect for twirling, a plaid suit to wow the crowd, and a button-front skirt for Thanksgiving dinner.
Huge thanks to Primark, InfluenceHer Collective, and Her Campus at Emmanuel for a great fashion experience!
